Sunil Evane faced poor economic conditions and societal constraints, but he had a strong desire to help his family and community. Sunil, who belongs to a tribal community, volunteered at YRC. Eventually worked as a programme facilitator for Synergy Sansthan, and gradually began supervising teams across their campsites. Sunil, who was influenced by a variety of initiatives addressing societal challenges, questioned the existing status quo on numerous occasions. He persuaded his parents to let his sisters participate in the YRC programme. His sisters were not only impacted by the programme, but they also completed post-graduate studies at top universities and obtained jobs to become self-sufficient. Sunil aspired to make such significant changes in his community that he joined a renowned national level fellowship.

Khushboo Mandrai, a YRC participant in her early twenties, was unsure what she wanted to do with her life. She discovered her interest in working with children and youth with disabilities while attending sessions and engaging in activities at YRC. Her introspection and gradual shift in mindful thinking not only had a positive effect on her family, but she also began teaching dance and painting. Her enthusiasm for painting is guided by mindful awareness, a sense of liberation, and self-belief.

Neha has realized a lot about herself in 21 days internship program through YRC, and she wants to establish herself as a sports consultant in the future. She also wants to take her social initiative to new heights, where many girls will earn their name in the field of sports. In the further process of Yuvaalaya, she worked on her action project, in which she wanted to work towards connecting the girls of the rural area of Harda with sports, especially those who do not have an environment of acceptance in their families. She shares her goal “We will try to bring out the confidence in girls of underprivileged families by getting them out in society through sports, such that they will become an example in front of society.” Neha believes that sports can serve as a strong medium in increasing the confidence of an individual. Presently Neha Saini is trying to bring girls from backward areas of Harda to play and adopt sports as a culture. Neha says this internship has been very effective to strengthen her dreams. She is focused on her goals and will continue to make efforts.
