With over two decades of diverse academic and research experience, she has been instrumental in various initiatives like the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, E Vidyabharti Project, and SANKALP Project at IGNOU RC Bhopal. Dr. Gargava’s research work includes disaster management, rural livelihoods, and gender issues.

Vrinda has worked at a Financial Institution in Singapore for 4 years. Following that she decided to take up a real challenge, and moved back to India to do the Teach For India Fellowship in 2015. She joined the TFIx team right after her Fellowship in 2017. TFIx is Teach For India’s incubation program, which helps Education Entrepreneurs launch contextualized teaching fellowships and create local grassroot leaders. Between 2017-2023, she worked towards finding the right Entrepreneurs for the program, identifying the right staff for the team and developing them. She played a key role in finding the right supporters to ensure the success of the program. Since 2023, she is leading TFIx which is now a 3 staged program, working closely with a wide range of education entrepreneurs. She enjoys yoga, music and travelling.

My name is Renu Shinde. I am from the village of Kusiya in the Harda district of Madhya Pradesh. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. (Plain) from Swami Vivekanand Government College, Harda. I have gained practical experience in the health services sector by working on health card creation at Baghel Hospital in Harda and as a receptionist at City Hospital. Currently, I am working as a Youth Facilitator in the Yuvalaya program of the Synergy Institute, where I am dedicated to working with rural and tribal youth on active citizenship, education, employment, and leadership development.

My special focus is on developing leadership qualities among young people and bringing about positive change in the community.
