True social transformation doesn’t arrive from the outside. It grows from within. Our co-founder, ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—๐—ฎ๐˜, would travel 10 kilometres every day to finish school โ€” no electricity, no clear path, no guarantee of what lay ahead. Yet that journey gave us our most enduring belief: curiosity is universal, but access is not. For too long, young people have been treated as recipients of someone else’s vision. At Synergy Sansthan, we are shifting that. Through Yuvalaya, we create safe, non-judgmental spaces where youth discover who they are and what they want to change. Through Udaan, young women from marginalised communities step into leadership โ€” running their own social action projects, on their own terms. Through Samaveshi, we are reimagining community participation itself, bringing people together across gender and social boundaries. And through Hamrahi, we walk alongside early-stage youth-led organisations, so that the support we once wished we had is now available to the next generation of changemakers. When a young person is given space to ask “๐—ช๐—ต๐—ผ ๐—ฎ๐—บ ๐—œ?” They lead. They challenge discrimination, advocate for rights, and drive change from the ground up. Over 5 lakh young people across Madhya Pradesh have been part of this journey. But the measure we care about most isn’t a number โ€” it’s the shift in agency. It’s the first-generation learner who now leads a community campaign, making the path a little smoother for those who follow. We are not building for the youth. We are building with them. ๐Ÿ“– Read our full story, featured by The Logical Indian: ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://thelogicalindian.com/people-of-purpose-meet-vimal-jat-who-built-synergy-sansthan-to-help-youth-lead-organise-and-drive-change/

From Rejection to Resilience: How I Turned a “No” into my biggest “Yes”

Meet Shivani from Harda. Growing up in a small town in Madhya Pradesh, I never imagined that one day Iโ€™d be living independently in Pune, working as an Academic Associate and supporting my family. My journey has not been very easy but every challenge has shaped the person I am today. During my college days in Harda, financial struggles pushed me to take up a part-time job as a private tutor while completing my graduation in 2019. Despite the hardships, I was determined to create a better future for myself and my family. After graduation, I volunteered with Synergy Sansthan for six months. Thatโ€™s when I had a life-changing conversation with a mentor at Synergy Sansthan . He told me about Navgurukul, an organization that provides free education with a guaranteed job. It sounded too good to be true, so I did my researchโ€”speaking to alumni, watching videos, and ensuring it was legitimate. Once convinced, I faced a new challenge: convincing my family. Coming from a small town, the idea of me moving to Pune was daunting for my parents. My mother was the first to say โ€œno,โ€ fearing for my safety and the familyโ€™s reputation. I sought help from my friends and mentors, who supported me in making my case. Slowly, I won over my mother and grandfather. But my father remained unconvinced. For weeks, we had countless conversations filled with emotions and doubts. Finally, my motherโ€™s heartfelt plea softened my fatherโ€™s stance, and he agreed. In a gesture of support, he even dropped me off at Navgurukul in Pune. That moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. At Navgurukul, I gained technical and life skills that helped me grow personally and professionally. Over the past 2.5 years, Iโ€™ve been working with Navgurukul Foundation for Social Welfare, living independently, managing my finances, and even supporting my family back home.
